Glasses: Whitney, late 1950's / early 1960's

The inventor produced two identical pairs and showed them to his model.
"Which pair shall I hand you first? One is for short sight, the other pair is for long sight".
"Short sight first. It's more natural to me. Wow, these look strong. Serious business. But where is the stamp with my name?"
"The lenses are minus seven. The stamp is on the nose bridge but it's tiny. You need magnifying lenses to decipher it".
"I love the shape of these frames. Real cat eye style. Are they vintage?"
"Absolutely. Late fifties or early sixties. The classic cat eye era".
"Alright, here we go. I'll tell you when it's time to snap.... Not yet, I'm still in the fog.... Now it's clearing up. Yes, I have landed".
