"Yes, now I see some changes. The hotel tower at the far end is missing. And most of the bikes in the street are gone. And there are only a few boats in the canal now".
"Ah, the hotel was built in the early seventies. This proves you find yourself in the sixties or perhaps even the late fifties. Can you see any people?"
"Not in the street. But I caught a glimpse of a young man in suit and tie. He looked in my direction through the bay window. Any chance it was you?"
"No, I hated suits and ties. Still do. But we are getting somewhere now. My Gran lived here with her younger sister. After My Gran died in 1960, her sister rented the two front rooms to students and the young man in suit and tie may have been one of these students. My guess is that you find yourself in the early or mid sixties. Students looked very conservative in those days".
"Can I take off the glasses? One of the arms is too short so they are not really comfortable to wear".
"Of course you can. Be prepared for a safe landing. It will only take ten seconds or so".
