To her delight, the young woman made a safe landing in the present. She handed the glasses to the inventor and he put them back in the shoe box.

"Can I have a look at the other glasses in the box?"

"Of course you can. Be my guest".

"How did I look in those vintage glasses?"

"They would have suited you if it wasn't for the problem with the right arm".

"I see an identical pair in the box, is that right? Can I try it on?"

The inventor handed her the glasses and he produced a hand mirror from his rucksack.

"This is the twin sister. Same frame but the lenses are for long sight".

"Meaning that my eyes will look enlarged?"

"Yes, giant eyes. The adaptation process would take a bit longer. Half a minute or so".

"It's a pity you have no camera with you. It would be fun to have a picture of myself with giant eyes".

The inventor produced a tiny camera from his pocket.

"Nothing high tech but better than nothing. Are you ready?"
