Glasses: Specsavers Sixties

The inscription on the arms of the frame says it all. These black glasses are a modern attempt to revive a short lived style that was popular in the mid 1960's. They are not a replica from any of the umpteen frames seen in the streets of my native Amsterdam during my schoolboy days. A rather odd feature is that the modern frame has straight arms. Nevertheless, an interesting experiment. Seven models posed in these glasses between 2008 and 2013. High time for a new series with Chanel.
