Chanel 161
As an encore at the graveyard, Chanel posed briefly in a striking pair of Silhouette glasses made ten years after the previous glasses. Generally speaking, the frame style of the early 1980's was less robust than during the experimental phase of the early and mid 1970's. The glasses shown here were only used in two photo shoots, first with Gita in 2009 (first weblog) and the other with freelance model Emilia from Dublin in 2013. It's always nice to rediscover glasses in my vast collection. Note the unusual frame color. It would not have suited Chanel during her blonde phase but the contrast with the model's natural brown hair is great. For the record, Chanel posed in three more pairs at the graveyard location and these will be shown at the very end of this documentary. We decided to head for the main street and check the locations there.
