Nicole told me a bit about her glasses history during the selection process and the actual photo shoot. She has a nicely varied collection of glasses, enabling her to match with her outfit of the day. The Essilor glasses reminded her of the first pair of glasses she got at the age of twelve. This makes sense as these were the closing years of two decades of retro style frames. Nicole is the first model who posed in this Essilor pair. The first owner was a lady in the French speaking part of Switzerland who probably used her glasses only as readers. Whatever the history of the Essilor glasses, they really suit Nicole perfectly.
