Nicole 016
The family company Lamy started manufacturing glasses as early as 1810 in the French Jura. They made their national breakthrough after settling in Paris in 1963. They were market leader in France in 1970, producing over a million glasses per year. Ten years later, Lamy expanded their activities to other continents and they are still going strong. My collection hosts a dozen of their glasses and most of them are remarkable for their subtle, tasteful frames. The silver pair shown here by lovely Nicole is an excellent example of the Lamy style. The glasses were shown in only one previous photo shoot, way back in 2010, with a model who did not need glasses at all (Astrid 241).
