Glasses: Silhouette 68, early 1970's

My collection hosts over a hundred Silhouette glasses and this is one of the earliest pairs. The frame style is very characteristic for the early 1970's. When star model Sohaila from Ireland discovered these glasses on the selection table, she pointed at them and said "Big and chunky. That's what I want. The chunkier the better". Dana has exactly the opposite taste but she did not mind posing in these remarkable Silhouette glasses. The result is pleasing to the eye.
