Here Carla is showing some of the amazing visual effects of blended myodisc lenses. Upon first sight, it looks as if she applied extreme make-up in the corner of her left eye. In reality, the effect is caused by the gradual transition between the shady central "bowl" with its high minus prescription and the surrounding positive carrier lens that catches the light.
