These Silhouette glasses have been in my collection since the last century but never shown in any previous photo shoot. Their first owner was a lady who apparently followed the principle "safety first". She really needed progressives but chose to have the left lens with just her mild prescription for long distance. This way she avoided the risk of stumbling and taking a fall on the stairs or in the streets. This solution gave her mono vision for reading and my guess is that she had a separate pair of readers.
