Carla 229

Cazal was a brand that created a niche in the 1980's by their characteristic frame design. You could always recognize Cazal glasses in the streets, even from a distance. Some of their more extreme frames may best be described as "not for the fainthearted". The glasses shown here by beautiful Carla are far from extreme by Cazal standards but still a real eye catcher. They were only featured in two previous photo shoots, first with Hiska (109) way back in 2010 and last year in Brighton (Jade 010). Like Carla nowadays, these models have 20/20 vision. My collection hosts another example of this Cazal frame, fitted with considerably stronger progressives. These were featured in two photo shoots done in Ireland in 2013 (Bonnie 069, Lydia 045). Both pairs were lying side by side on the selection tables and Carla chose this pair with the mild prescription. The first owner of these glasses was an Austrian lady in her early forties. She made a wise decision to go for progressives straightaway after noticing the onset of presbyopia.
