These highly unusual glasses caught my attention on the Waterlooplein flea market about thirty years ago. I never saw any frame like this before or afterwards. Whoever the first owner was, she must have really liked her glasses. They looked as if they had been worn constantly for many years. They are fitted with photochromic lenses. Chanel was clearly amused to see the glasses slowly turn into sunglasses when we walked out of the house. The lenses are only a touch below the model's own prescription.
