In my childhood I believed that women in minus glasses were magicians. They carried the tiny image of the background wherever they went. This could only mean that they had total control over their surroundings. As a boy of six, I wisely decided to keep the newly discovered secret to myself. This is one of many glasses related events described in a book which is now circulating among proofreaders. Writing a book was a great but rather secluded experience. It's nice to be back at portrait photography again after a long hibernation.
