Taking good portraits of ladies in blended myodisc glasses is precision work, calling for intensive interaction between model and photographer. Working with Carla was a treat. She knew exactly what my instructions were about - getting the vantage points from which the play of the light in the lenses produces the most striking effects. The word "instructions" also includes a meticulous navigation process as the model is seeing everything in a massive blur.
