The first owner of these drop temple glasses had a short head and also an unusual prescription. Only minus two for her right eye but minus five for her left eye. As a result, all the models who posed in these glasses had to cope with mono vision. High index lenses did not exist in the early 1980's so even a -5.50 lens looks like a shell from this "en profil" vantage point.
