The main problem for wearers of blended myodisc glasses was the reduced peripheral view. But this does not necessarily mean mean that the wearers were badly handicapped. I clearly remember seeing an attractive middle aged lady in blended myodisc glasses almost thirty years ago. She looked at ease, lively and self assured.
