Emma 277 - 278

Back in 1979, anti-reflective coating on prescription lenses was still in its infancy compared with nowadays. Most professional portrait photographers are always moaning about the reflection in prescription lenses and their first request to a model is to take off her glasses. In my opinion, that's a bit silly. Compare both versions of this fine portrait. It took me only a minute to remove the glare with a simple tool on Picasa. Unfortunately, big business interests put an end to the handy Picasa tools and one of my priorities for 2017 is finding a comprehensible alternative.
