This "en face" photo was taken only five seconds later. The kiss thrown over the hand was no part of the instruction but a spontaneous initiative from the model's side. In fact it was the echo of a routine followed when we did the Valentine series, ten minutes before. The gesture with the kiss thrown over the hand needs to be done at the natural speed, otherwise it results in a still without spontaneity. The Valentine series came out great except for the attempts with the kiss thrown over the hand. Nerissa did great but I snapped a split second too early or too late. It's pointless to repeat that procedure more than three times. But there is always a new opportunity when the glasses lend themselves to the gesture. Nerissa wears pink glasses herself and she was delighted to pose in pink glasses from my collection. That is how the spark works in a good model / photographer team.
