Glasses: Gan Aimh, made in 1966

Wooden frames were an experiment seen in an optician's shop in my native Amsterdam but never in the streets. The shape of the frame is very much what the mainstream in glasses design looked like during the mid 1960's. The small, compact style put an end to the cat eye era in 1964 and lasted three years. The love summer of 1967 brought the first larger frames.
