Nostalgia 070 Farishta

My portrait photography has been in a state of hibernation since early November. The reason is that I am in the process of writing a book about the Amsterdam of my youth (1950's, 1960's and 1970's). Writing started on November 2nd and it is my aim to finish the book by the end of January or early in February.

However, some edited photo material surfaced recently so here is a series of Farishta, the "Mona Lisa in glasses". The unedited original was taken during her very first photo shoot, in December 2009. The editing was done a few years ago. The material was retrieved by my brother in law from an old PC thought to have crashed. As it turned out, all the photos are virus free so here you have a fresh look on some of the best Farishta portraits taken shortly after the start of "Ladies behind crystal veil". The glasses shown here were the second pair used during the photo shoot. First acquaintance....
