Back in the 1960's, prescription glasses were more expensive than they are now. As a result, many ladies used the same frame for ten years or so. This was probably the case with these Rodenstock glasses shown here to great effect by lovely Chanel. The circle shaped reading segments suggest that the first owner ordered new lenses at some stage. The add is unusually high (+3.50) and circle shaped reading segments were only introduced in the late sixties.
