Iris 017
Glasses: Zenni ....
[L=R: -8.00]
A beautiful close up of Iris in big, solid glasses made by Zenni. Note the nice white decoration on the frame and the "focus" in her eyes on her invisible model partner.

Iris 005-006
Glasses: Zenni 628534
[L: -11.00; c-1.25 v / R: -11.50; c-1.25 v]
The cat eye glasses shown here by Iris make a fine color blend with the giant green hand. No risk that the solid frame will get cracked either. An invisible but nice detail about the frame is the bamboo pattern on the dark green arms. The glasses are closer to the classic cat eye style than most other frames labeled as such in the Zenni catalog. Iris is the 12th model posing in them.

Glasses: Zenni 249217
[L=R: -8.00]
These purple Zenni glasses were featured in five previous photo shoots (Sandra 184, Jennifer 083, Farishta 911, Mirjam 089, Severine 034). Here Iris joins their ranks to great effect.
Iris 003
Glasses: Zenni .... [L=R: -8.00]
Iris posing in a pair of Zenni glasses that was clearly inspired by the style of the 1970's. Acquired seven years ago, these glasses became even more popular among models than the olive pair. Iris is the 18th model posing in them. A nice color blend!
Iris 002
Glasses: Zenni .... [L=R: -8.00]
Lost in the fog but nevertheless a fine portrait. Iris is posing here in giant glasses ordered from Zenni in late 2015. The glasses soon traveled to Paris (Cat 087), Athens (Nefeli 153), Brighton (Miliswa 048) and Germany (Emma 290) before any use of them was made at home (Merle 126). The frame is an oversize version of the popular frame series 2740.

Many followers of my weblogs may remember that I did several duo shoots over the years. All of these were prearranged. Mother and daughter shoots, a twin sister shoot.... But this occasion was different. I came across two girls in my local shopping mall and noticed that one of them was a glasses wearer with an excellent taste for frames. So I asked her if she would be interested in posing for me. She kindly accepted the invitation. During the preparatory correspondence she asked me if it was alright that her friend Iris would attend the shoot. Of course. When the girls arrived at my place I first showed them a part of my collection and soon it dawned to me that Iris was quite interested and knowledgeable about glasses. So I asked Iris if she was interested to pose in a couple of series. To my delight, she agreed straightaway. Iris is only an occasional glasses wearer with a mild prescription. A quick dive into my collection and off we went.... The glasses shown here by Iris were made in Scandinavia almost thirty years ago. They were the favorite of Mirjam during her first photo shoot and I gave them to her on an extended loan for night driving until she eventually got her first pair of prescription glasses. Stories.... These Pro Design glasses are of the "you can't go wrong" category and they gave Iris perfect eyesight.
